Determining Alimony/Spousal Support
Paying alimony or spousal support should not be a financial hardship on you or put you into bankruptcy. If you are ordered to pay temporary or permanent alimony, all incomes and expenses are taken into account. The goal is for everyone to come close to maintaining the lifestyle they enjoyed prior to the divorce.
Men are equally eligible for alimony/spousal support but because of certain double standards in some courts it may be harder to obtain. It is imperative that the request be properly handled and articulated aggressively so that a proper support award can be obtained for a man.
